Call for nominations AISPE Awards 2023 and Commissions

 
 

Appointed commissions for the AISPE 2023 awards:

  • Best Book Award
    Commission: Sebastiano Nerozzi (President), Ivo Maes, and Simona Pisanelli
  • Best Article Award
    Commission: Manuela Mosca (President), Mario Pomini, and Cleo Chassonnery Zaigouche
  • Terenzio Maccabelli Best Dissertation Award
    Commission: Claudia Rotondi (President), Francesco Sergi, and Antonella Rancan

AISPE is inviting nominations for the Awards that will be announced at the next AISPE General Assembly, to be held on October 19-21, 2023 in Palermo during our AISPE-SISE conference.

The winners will receive 500 euros and a diploma.

Nominations should be sent as soon as possible, but not later than May 30, 2023 to the Chair of the relevant panel.

The BEST BOOK AWARD for the best book in the history of economic thought published during 2021 or 2022. Self-nominations are accepted. Send your proposal to Antonio Magliulo: antonio.magliulo@unifi.it

The BEST ARTICLE AWARD for the best article in the history of economic thought published during 2021 or 2022. Self-nominations are accepted. Send your proposal to Pier Francesco Asso: francesco.asso@unipa.it

The TERENZIO MACCABELLI BEST DISSERTATION AWARD for the best Ph.D. dissertation in the history of economic thought completed during 2021 or 2022, in memory of Terenzio Maccabelli. Self nominations are not accepted. Send your proposal to Fabrizio Bientinesifabrizio.bientinesi@unipi.it

Nominations should include:

(i)                  Full bibliographic details of the book or article.

(ii)                An electronic copy of the book or article or dissertation.

Rules for Awards:

– No current member of the Executive Committee is eligible.

– Any member of an awarding committee needs to declare the extent of his/her institutional connections and/or extent of collaboration with the applicants.
